Tips on how to succeed on the
SAT's and ACT's

When studying for
the SAT's or ACTs, the first thing you need to do is take a
diagnostic or sample test. Your Los Angeles Tutor will provide all
the material you need when studying for this exam. You are going
to want to take this diagnostic test in a way that simulates
what the real test will be like. Once you've completed the test,
it's time to go over all the problems.....even the ones you got
correct.

First focus on the
problems you got wrong. Is there a pattern you can see? Are you
having more trouble in the verbal or the math sections. Really
break the test down and get an understanding of what your
strengths and weaknesses are. Once you figure out what your
weaknesses are, you've figured out what you need to work on.
Don't forget to go over the ones you got correct as well, to
make sure you really understand the material on that question
and you didn't just guess correctly.
